The decision to upgrade to NGO has led to meaningful results for Cox Media for user engagement, traffic and revenue. During the first half of the year, there was a 38% increase in sessions per notice, a 32% increase in social shares, a 47% increase in new users and a 10% decrease in the bounce rate, compared to the previous year.
NGO’s added mobile and social functionality also led to traffic gains. Cox Media Group saw a 15% increase in organic search traffic, an 83% increase in social traffic and a 43% increase in mobile traffic during the same time period.
